I’m a guy around 5′3 and I honestly hate being short. Being short is not bad, sure there can be awk pictures or just the thought of people always looking down on you, but that’s where your personality comes in. I was the class clown in almost every class :). People would like me just cuz of my easying going way and my sence of humor of course. I’m pretty lonely and I don’t really have anyone to talk to about my problems. I have two friends. One is a bit of a narcissist and ignores you unless she’s interested in the topic at hand. The other is glued to the hip with her boyfriend and I can never get her alone. No siblings. My dad is emotionally distant and my mom is so stressed and tired from work that I don’t want to bother her. Not close to extended family.

I have insecurities about my body just like everyone else. It started with people making comments, some were even my best ‘friends’. When my former best friend and I became friends when we were 10, she was a very sweet, kind person, but she was terribly insecure and struggled with anxiety issues. You insecure slut! You try to live a double life. You want to be awesome mommy and miss hardcore badass at the same time. Who are you? Do you even know? You drink and drive your kid around. You do drugs.you party and sleep around. You don’t even know how to be a good person so you befriend good people and copy them..only enough to keep up appearances. There’s a girl who sits at my lunch table who barely eats lunch. She’s skinny, and she always says “Man, I really need to put meat on these bones, I mean look at me!”
I agree that she is probably underweight and needs to gain some. But she says it, like, every day.
And it makes me wonder if she’s insecure about it, so she makes fun of it, or if she’s drawing attention to it and bragging, passive aggressively, or somethin’ like that.

I’m sick of people, seriously… to an extent that I don’t know if I’m surrounded by assholes or I’m actually one myself. I pretend that I don’t need them and I show the independent and confident side, but to tell you the truth, I’m extremely insecure.. I got my own group of friends, but that’s just so far! I go to college and when I’m there, I’m not really myself. People think I’m unsocial. But to hell with them!
