On the MADD website it says everyday about 300,000 Americans drink and drive, only about 4,000 are arrested. That’s about 1.33%. The average person will drink and drive 80 times before their first arrest. The total number of reported accidents in 2013 was 5,687,000 according to the National Highway Traffic Saftey Administration. Only 10,076 people were killed in drunk driving accidents (about .18%) and 290,000 were injured (5.1%). How exactly MADD came up with the number for “not caught drunk drivers” is beyond me, but the number would be a hell of alot smaller if they didn’t require your BAC to be so low. Even so, all these numbers are fucking minuscule. Prohibition ended in 1933 and yet if i leave my house after drinking two beers I have to tip toe around for fear of paying thousands of dollars I don’t have to an incompetent police force only trained to hand out tickets and abuse minorities. I am forced to work a job I hate to pay for shit I don’t need in a country i don’t like anymore, because dumb fuck Americans want their hand held through life. Fuck the police! “They are just doing their jobs” is the worst fucking argument I’ve ever heard, so were the Nazis and look what happened there. You should all be ashamed of what you’re doing to this country. I’m sorry if a loved one died because a dumb schmuck chugged a liter of vodka then drove into your living room, but 1 1/3% of the population paying thousands of dollars in fines and fees and facing jail time for the mistakes of 5% is excessive. On top of all this i have to go to DUI classes. Now i have the joy of going to a place filled with weak minded Jesus freaks who chain smoke and whine about how stupid and insignificant their miserable lives are. I get to pay them and let a higher power into my life like a cult because i am too weak and stupid to make my own decisions in my own life… I don’t want to live on this planet anymore.
