Honestly, I cannot stand them! I probably wouldn’t speak to them even if I was better at speaking with people. I hardly go out of the house and so I can pretty much stay clear of them all, but my sister likes to go out and hang out with her friends quite often. So I get her stories when she comes home. She and her best friend decided to go out and cosplay to the store and neighborhood center. Some teens commented on their outfits, and one girl compared their outfits to some porn she saw. WTH? Who says that to a couple of 12-13 years olds? The outfits were modest and looked like school uniforms with the exception of the bright colored wigs. And who talks about porn anyway? Who goes up to some complete stranger and say, “Hey, I saw this porn and-” No. Just no. I know that cosplaying in public would get you weird looks and some unwanted attention at times, but seriously.
Alright, another thing that is getting on my nerves, is the swag thing. I ignore it most of the time, and I haven’t really seen much. But here’s a story of one of my experience’s. I was going with my sister to a haunted house and we met up with her friend there too. Her friend was going with her brother and so we stood in line with the both of them. Now, here we are standing in line when her brother starts talking about his costume for Halloween. Now theres nothing wrong with that, I probably would have too if I wasn’t (A too nervous to speak to people, and (B certain that this guy wouldn’t care for it as he isn’t a fan of anime. But as I decide to listen politely, I realize he isn’t going to tell us what he is going as. He instead started talking about how much “Swaggity swag swag” his costume has. Now, I always thought that it was just an over used made up saying, but this? This sounds stupid. And I am not exaggerating. As I tuned him out and turned my attention else were, I caught bits and pieces of his none ending speech. Truly he seemed to only used that one single word (Or acronym, I’ve never been sure). The last time I saw him, I was sure that he had a larger vocabulary then this. I sighed in defeat and wished I had friends of my own to speak with at the haunted house.
