Working at a hospital USED to make me feel amazing…like I was doing something worth living for and making a difference in peoples lives. NOW….I go to work in the constant fear that I will be physically attacked or shot ( we have had non-stop lock downs due to walk in gun shot victims). I am SICK and TIRED of picking you off the ground, being covered in your blood, hurting my back throwing you on a stretcher and saving your fucking life for your family and you to treat me like shit when you dont get your dilaudid fast enough or when I cant let your uncle back without ID cause I DONT KNOW IF HE IS THE ONE TO HAVE SHOT YOU. THEN 50-100 family members how up and proceed to scare the fuck out of all of my other patients by being loud, rude, and yelling about going to “pop a cap” and “fuck that nigga up”. Your family then goes out and shoots the person who shot you so now I get to repeat all of this later in the night. AND once you are all healed, do you go to school or get a job and be thankful that you are alive?? NO! you go right back to drug dealing and shooting and I see you again shot, stabbed, or ODed. and to top EVERYTHING off…..do YOU pay for any of this??? HELL NO. I do…the taxpayers do. not you, not your family. I work for my living only so that I can pay thousands for you. WHY SHOULD I CARE MORE ABOUT YOUR LIFE THAN YOU DO?? WHY SHOULD I STRUGGLE WHEN YOU HAVE 2 IPHONE, A NICER CAR, AND $1800 CASH ON YOU WHEN YOU COME IN? WHY SHOULD i BE SFRAID OF YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND BE THREATENED BY THEM WHEN I SAVED YOUR LIFE? WHY SHOULD I BE TERRIFIED THAT YOUR SHOOTER WILL COME TO THE HOPSITAL AND KILL ME TRYING TO GET TO YOU? WHY DO I FOLLOW PROTOCOL TO PROTECT YOU AND HIDE YOU THEN YOU POST ON FACEBOOK THAT YOUR ARE “SO G” AFTER GETTING SHOT AND POST PICS FROM YOUR ROOM???

IGNORANCE. im sick of it. grow up people and either start dying from your life choices or stay the hell away from me. You dug your grave. Learn from your mistakes!!!
