So, i’ve come to live back with my mother, stepfather and grandfather (at 23 this took some doing), but given that my father took well over 2 grand from me, which would’ve kept me in school long enough to graduate, its all I could do. Now, at first I was (and still am to the minimum degree) thankful for the cheap lodging (half what my rent was in college, allowing me to pay back my student loan a little easier…being on my area’s equivalent of welfare), but thats turned mostly to heavy resentment;

My mother is a passive-aggressive lazy woman, who, other than myself and my grandfather’s airforce pension and retirement plan is the only source of income (her, being a priest in the Anglican church, doesn’t help I don’t deal well with religion either).

My stepfather is a narcissistic prick in addition to being a psychotic rage-formed monster about 50% of the time (no hitting people or shit, hell I figure i’ll bash him soon, but more of an irrational conversationalist who flips at no provocation).

And my grandfather is a mouthbreathing senile coward (I do have the greatest respect for him, but he doesn’t even know how to cook for himself). He makes noises, noises nobody outside of an asylum or retirement home should make, slurping and grating noises as he eats (sitting, usually across from me) as well as absurd farts he never seems to notice (also bullshit).

Then we get to me, which is, of course the best part; I was a moderately successful advertiser in the town I was in for college, myself and some friends started a small video firm to make some cash and we started to seriously find some income, eventually the company split up when one member took all the cash from a job and tried to convince us we shouldn’t share it, this was the highpoint of a long degradation, but you get the picture. I had an incredible social life, my friends were like family because I avoided my family. So much so that when I lost my place (as I was running out of money) my friends spotted myself and my roommate a couple couches for about a month, during which time I had the best thanksgiving i’ve ever had. I found a nice girl (well, a bunch, and had difficulty choosing one due to feeling guilty about hitting on and eventually seducing a few of them…So I waited till one chose me). I adored my life with all those ups and downs (plus some glaring medical shit, but whatever). And now i’m here.

I don’t even know how to get out, my medical situation precludes me getting any decent job, so it could be years. But I need to go somehow, goddamn.
