Am I the only one thinking people are thinking… “Woah… large scale mass murders! What a perfect time to get on my soapbox and push my individual political agenda!”

I get so fucking sick of horrific tragedy being used by people to say… “SEE??? If only you subscribed to MY way of thinking, this wouldn’t happen???”

People shot other people? If we had gun control this wouldn’t happen!
People shot other people? If we armed good people, they’d shoot bad people and this wouldn’t happen!

FUCK BOTH OF YOU! Tragedy WILL happen, no matter what you fucking do! People do bad shit! Voting for one motherfucker over another won’t change jack shit. Passing laws one way or another won’t stop any-fucking-thing! NOT ONE FUCKING THING!

Holy fucking shit! Are people seriously so dense as to not get it?

This shit isn’t going away. Call it ISIS/muslims right now, destroy them, and they’ll be something else next. Another evil WILL take its place. A school shooter, a movie theater shooter, a serial killer, a crazed dictator. Again and again.. Evil will arise. You want to know what evil is? Do you motherfuckers????

Humanity. We’re fucking evil.

And we’re also the most amazing selfless good in the known universe. The good of humanity can bring tears to this old son of a bitch’s eyes.

It’s just what we are. We do bad things thinking we’re good… and we become evil. Like, for instance, placing a fucking soapbox over a fresh grave, or climbing atop a pile of bodies… to push our stupid individual agendas. Despicable. I’m so sick of hearing it. Shut. The. Fuck. Up.

I’m not very religious. But I think the response SHOULD be…

Pray for the fallen, for their loved ones. And offer our support to fuck the skulls right out of those who caused this shit. Then turn our swords into plowshares and wait until the next time humanity needs us to band together again to fight.

Because that’s all we can do. Fight together, destroy evil in its current form. And prepare for the next. For it shall come. Never doubt that.

Your ideals will not help you. Fight or sit and wait to die. Those are your choices.
